It's very, very cold out there tonight and the wind gusts remind me a lot of some of the blizzards I photographed here in NYC (info about this photo below). I believe the windchill feel will be around -8 tonight which I know is nowhere near the unreal temperatures in Chicago and other places. But be careful if you have to be outside for any amount of time. . . . This was a photo I took in a very windy blizzard just as the snow started to accumulate. The gusts were around 65mph and I was completely covered up with my balaclava, giant coat, layers of gloves, waterproof pants. The funniest part of the night though was posting another photo from the storm elsewhere online when I got home at around 3AM. Someone commented that they saw me and sent me a photo of me in complete snow gear. I remembered seeing someone stop briefly and stare at me as I tried to navigate through the streets of midtown.
