A healthier twist on the classic margarita, using fresh citrus juices and agave nectar for sweetness.
Ingredients: 2 oz silver tequila. 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice. 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice. 1/2 oz agave nectar. Ice cubes. Salt optional, for rimming. Lime wedge optional, for garnish.
Instructions: In a shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave nectar. Add ice cubes to the shaker. Shake vigorously until well chilled. If desired, rim the glass with salt by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into salt. Strain the margarita into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge, if desired.
