Nureya keeps growing and she needed a bigger hide. Luckily a store had a cute little hamster hide that I could jazz up. She loves it now, and I think it's so damn cute.
My youngest approves of my new altar arrangement. Happy girl...
Tank cleaning day! Which means geckos in the bowl for temporary keep. I put in all their moist hides because they are all starting to pale out. Valteon is already beginning his shed. Notice his head color is different from his body? The skin on the head is usually the last to lift with my geckos.
Tanks are all clean and lovely. A little bare of decor as I usually do when they shed. The plastic containers are purely for their shedding process and not something I usually keep in there with them. Happy geckos today!
Any questions feel free to ask.
Some one is enjoying her new mini pumpkin. Getting into the fall spirit!

I might be slightly biased, but my adventurous girl has the prettiest eyes. Just look at that smile!
*Introduction*
This is my baby girl Nureya (Nur-ay-ya). Her story is sort of funny honestly, after getting my boy Valteon I discovered that I had to visit a local pet store to get his food often. I ofcourse had to walk right past the other gecko enclosures and after having my healthy and sweet boy arrive at my house it made me really sad to see the young babies so underweight and clearly not happy. Their cages were a mess and I'm almost certain that a few had stick tail. It was a really sad sight to see honestly. But there was only one orange gecko baby in the tank that seemed lively and almost healthy.
Since they were too young to be sexed yet I honestly had no idea what I was getting into. I told myself if I went to a thrift store and found a cheap tank... I would rescue the little orange one. I visited my normal thrift shops and sure enough there was a tank at the end of the week that would be just perfect in my home. And the thought of having another gecko thrilled me to no end if I could afford it. Which I could. Since I underestimated just how low maintenance these creatures are. With the tank set up at home and ready I went back to the store and took her home.
She was such a tiny thing compared to Valteon, absolutely itty bitty in my hands and a total wriggle worm. She also had a knack for doing what I called "suicide jumps" from my hands. No matter the height she would just try to jump away and escape. This baby was not really anything like my lazy adult gecko. To make matters worse I still could not decide what sex she was. So for the first straight month I called her "Nameless."
All I really knew was that she had beautiful eyes and an appetite that could rival my big healthy Male. I took special steps to make sure that the two never cross contaminated because I was still very concerned about her having stick tail. When she had put on a little more weight and got a bit older I discovered she was infact a girl and gave the her name Nureya, which is flame in Turkish. I'm sure I'm botching pronounciation but oh well. She is my girl and I love how much she had grown since these baby pictures.
My baby girl is still growing and eats everything in her path. Her tail is now healthily plump and she is such a curious adventurous girl. Still can't really sit still for too long but poses for pictures when she feels like. I love her to death and know when ever I take her out of the tank its adventure time! She is my little spitfire and I hope her photos brighten up your day like they do mine!
My youngest is definitely going through a growth spurt. Not as good of photos cause she is so adventurous but I do love her terribly.
