Dear fellow left-wing bloggers,

In the last few days I've run across two different posts from fellow left-wing bloggers that presented shocking information regarding Trump. However, these posts offered NO links to reputable sources for the information they presented. When the posts were fact checked, they turned out NOT to have any evidence to support them or were clearly debunked by a fact-checking site.

Let's try not to make the same mistakes the "other side" make by posting or reposting outrageous information that we hope is true without first fact checking that information. Below are debunks of the two posts I recently found on Tumblr that made outrageous claims that turned out to be false.

How a Meme Warped a Hypothetical Scenario Into a "Fact"

This X post meme was recently reposted on Tumblr:

"Jack Smith has mentioned Trump selling nuclear secrets in three different filings."

When I saw the meme, I noticed there were NO links on the original X post as to where this claim came from. After googling a bit, I could find NO evidence to support that the above claim was true. But I was able to figure out probably how this claim was manufactured.

It appears that the (twisted) roots of the above meme came from the fact that Jack Smith used a hypothetical scenario of Trump selling nuclear secrets when he made a written argument back in late Dec. 2024 against presidential immunity to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. MS Now's Jordan Rubin reported:

Ordering the National Guard to murder one’s critics, selling nuclear secrets to foreign adversaries, telling the FBI to plant evidence on political enemies, taking bribes for government contracts — these are all things presidents could do without criminal consequence if Donald Trump’s immunity argument is correct, special counsel Jack Smith told a federal appeals court in Washington. [emphasis added]

So, the person who created the above meme, took a hypothetical scenario that Jack Smith used to argue against presidential immunity and made it sound as if Smith argued that Trump had actually sold nuclear secrets.

Any post that makes such an outrageous claim without providing credible links to supporting evidence of those claims should be automatically suspect and NOT posted until clear evidence of support is found.

Snopes Debunk of "Polaroids of Trump and Epstein with Young Women"

A post on Tumblr (and other social media sites) that claimed to show old Polaroid photos of Trump with young women that were allegedly released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, turned out to be showing AI-generated fake "Polaroid" photos (even though the post on Tumblr claimed they were not AI-generated).

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an agency formed during President Trump’s second term to streamline federal operations, is under intense scrutiny following revelations that two of its employees gained accounts on highly sensitive classified networks, including systems tied to the management of U.S. nuclear weapons, according to a report published by NPR.

Reports first surfaced late Sunday that two DOGE employees — Luke Farritor and Adam Ramada — obtained access credentials for the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Enterprise Secure Network (ESN) and the Department of Defense’s Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet). These systems handle some of the nation’s most sensitive nuclear weapons information, raising profound questions about the security protocols in place.

Critically, neither Farritor nor Ramada reportedly had prior experience handling classified information related to nuclear programs or national security, which has further amplified concerns from cybersecurity experts and lawmakers alike. The individuals reportedly left their positions in February, after spending several weeks embedded inside the Department of Energy (DOE).

The question remains: What exactly was Donald Trump going to do with all those classified documents, including nuclear secrets, strewn all over his garish mansion?

Convicted felon and adjudicated sex offender Donald Trump had truckloads of classified materials intentionally transported to Mar-a-Lago. It's not that Trump enjoys reading that much. Agents who gave him intelligence briefings during his presidency had to create diagrams and other graphics so he could understand their reports.

Not all of the missing classified papers which went missing during the Trump administration have been recovered.

Do we REALLY think Trump is gonna go to jail for this? I mean, nothing has ever stuck to him before, but this is so cartoonishly blatant it boggles my mind. He literally stole nuclear secrets, like a fucking James Bond villain. That's the generic crime writers come up with when they can't think of anything better and don't want to give their villains real ideologies. "The bad guys steal secrets to sell to terrorists for money; they just hate America for no reason and think being evil is fun." What next, is he gonna tie damsels to the railroad tracks? Is he gonna steal the key to the city? Put cats in trees? Take candy from babies? Rip tags off mattresses? Jaywalk? Litter?

How did we get to a point in history where a former president of the United States can STEAL NUCLEAR SECRETS and the general consensus is "tsk tsk tsk, he shouldn't've done that" instead of "holy fucking shit, he's a traitor." You don't just hold onto nuclear secrets for shits and giggles. You don't just thumb through them every now and then like they're your old high school yearbook so you can reminisce on how things used to be. You take them so you can show them to someone you're not supposed to show them to. Chances are he's never bothered to read them himself because he has the attention span of a toddler, and the government probably doesn't use large print with lots of pictures to archive their nuclear secrets. He took them because they were valuable, he thought he could get away with it, he got caught red-handed, and now everyone is downplaying it like he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Wagging their finger at him, "Gotcha! You're in real trouble this time, young man!"

Snowden and Assange and Manning faced greater consequences for lesser crimes than this.

I honestly believe this is the new normal. He'll be fined in civil court, and then declare bankruptcy so he doesn't have to pay it, and then raise billions of dollars in donations for his 2024 campaign by claiming to have gone face to face against the deep state and won.

I found out yesterday that Ivana was cremated. They used a full body casket “for her” even though a burial urn is usually a fairly small box containing urn filled with ashes.

They probably buried a lot of documents in that grave. That grave that’s located on the same golf course where Saudi Arabia gave Kushner $2bil. With or without her ashes they’d have a lot of room in there. They probably dumped her ashes in the ocean so they didn’t get the documents dirty.

The Donald now says he can declassify documents "just by thinking about it".

I don't know about you but I haven't seen such psychic powers since Brian De Palma's "Carrie".
