Going off of the bathroom ask, I wonder if it would be considered ableist by oversight that my high school bathroom in the theatre wing only had two stalls, one of which was a disabled stall, so the students had no choice but to use it, increasing the likelyhood that someone who can only use the disabled stall would have to wait.
Potentially yes, I think it's just bizarre in general there's only two, but maybe your highschool is small, I wouldn't know

I find some jokes about disabilities to be funny, specifically the ones that I have, I am anemic and find anemic jokes funny, even if they are a little absurd, I don’t stiffen in to a plank and fall over a table when standing up but it’s still funny to me. I understand why some jokes aren’t funny, I have adhd, and adhd jokes when made by another person with adhd is funny but not when it’s made by somebody without adhd, cuz like they don’t get it, idk how to describe it. So now I’m curious when does making a joke about a disability turn into ableism?
I’d say there are two steps when asking this:
1. Is the joke making fun of people having the disability?
and 2. Is it made by someone with that disability?
Take for example, you mention ADHD, so one of those “pov ADHD” videos, they tease at certain traits common with those that have adhd, so this is why that second question is important. If made by someone with adhd, the joke comes from relatability and understanding, maybe some self deprecating humor, but if made by someone without adhd, it comes off as superficial and more bullying than having a laugh about stuff you do, as now it becomes targeted at other people.
Ableism is when my friends plan to hang out without me and and when I asked why (after finding out), they said I "make things difficult and always have to change plans that make it about me"
All I've ever asked of them is if we can do something else that can include all of us and not only them (ex: I cant go to the waterpark because of my prosthetic leg so I cant get into the water and can only watch them swim). Last time we hung out, they went swimming at the local beach and I was stuck on the beach while they hung out in the water 20 feet away and didnt talk to me the whole time
I'll say this is ableism with some nuance.
If they're excluding you for some activities, while actively inviting you from activities you cannot participate in, this is 100% ableism.
They have the right to go to waterparks, and if they do, I think them notifying you with "hey we're going to the waterpark today, want to hangout later?" would be a lot more helpful than just leaving you alone.
not fully about ableism, but do you think typing quirks kind of fall under conflicting accessibility needs, or something similar if there’s a better word? i kind of feel like they do, because some beings constantly try to call them ableist when a lot of the beings who use them are neurodivergent or disabled in some way and it’s a personal comfort for them. idk.
I’d say it is conflicting
I ask for translations if beings are able to provide them, if one is not able to, I try to provide them myself

ive started replacing narcissist in my vocabulary with some wording relating to "they think they're the main character" instead. or ill just use cocky, prideful, high up their own ass, etc. are these better? (fyi, im not using them in reference to those with npd)
people with npd deserve respect, and not to be compared to horrid people.
I believe this is solidarity, I don’t have NPD, I’m not deep in the community, so I want input from others.
Also if it is considered ableism by others, I don’t see it as purposeful ableism as you read as well intentioned

is it ableism if an autistic person goofs off during a group project and a neurotypical person calls them out on it? (this is coming from the neurotypical person, by the way--the other person said that since its a stereotype that disabled people are lazy, i shouldn't have said anything. they didn't say that their disability caused them to be unable to work on the project, though)
I wouldn’t say this is ableism, I’m not sure of specifics of what you said or what they were doing.
If anything maybe try emphasizing the importance of the project? I’m not sure what else to say here

I wouldn’t say it’s ableism, while the song does have stereotypes, you recognize that the words do have stereotypes.
Also people can enjoy whatever music they want, and there are definitely songs that are 100x more controversial that many people enjoy.
