I'm sorry for all the heartache, and all the missed opportunities. I'm sorry for all the loves I made you chase and then push away.I've sorry for all the genuine smiles I snatched off your face, and all the laughs I shoved down your throat.

I'm sorry for all the times I forced you to the ground in order to let others pave the way, and I'm sorry for all insults and arguments I ignited to keep you in "your place".

I'm sorry for all the ones I let trample your heart and snuff your joy.I'm sorry for the sleepless nights where I kept you awake with my restless mind.I'm sorry that I never gave you my time and threw you away with reckless abandon. I'm sorry I never loved and appreciated you the way you wanted me to, and I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most. I'm sorry for all the things I forced you into at the interest of others and I'm sorry for all the times I hurt you.

I'm sorry I never realized just how precious you are and I'm sorry that it took me 19 years to recognize your worth.

You are a Queen, a Goddess, a Warrior, and the greatest lover I have ever met. You walk the world with eloquence and grace. And despite all that I have thrown at you, you always managed to find your way. You are intelligent, you are inspirational, you are passionate, and you are the most forgiving person yet. You are powerful, fierce, and you are most definitely brave. You my love are my biggest accomplishment, and my greatest friend; and I am immensely proud of who you became.

I hate that it took me 2 decades to truly see you this way, but that's my mistake not yours. You've surpassed everything I could ever imagine you to be and then some, and no I truly can't wait to see how you will face these years to come.
