Basically, years and years ago I stumbled upon Suddenly I See and I remember just cramming it all, then when I realised there was Nobody Sees Me Wishing I got even more excited. Anyway, back in the day I used to read quite a lot of fan fiction but yours is really the ones that really stuck. And well because I'm applying for jobs and got a lot of time I started re reading HP I really hope you still do writing because you got some serious talent

Tldr I hate happy stories with sad endings
The first time I watched a walk to remember I didn’t know it was based off a Nicholas sparks book so I thought it was a fluffy teen romance movie where the badass dude falls in love with the shy dork and everyone lives happily ever after and then shE FUCKING GOT CANCER AND DIED AND I WAS SO MAD I THREW STUFF AND COMPLAINED FOR LIKE A MONTH. THIS WAS YEARS AGO AND TBH IM STILL PISSED.
And now I’ve gone and read a story with the same premise it started out a cute little YA novel with lots of secondhand embarrassment felt on my part and the shy girl likes the badass dude but the shy boy likes shy girl and I was rooting for the shy OTP but anyways girl ended up with the badass and I was like huh well I can live with that and there was character development in many characters and everything was well and good until in the penultimate goddamn chapter of 100+ chapters she was walking home to her now fiancé and OUT OF NOWHERE SHE GOT MUGGED AND MURDERED IN ABOUT FUCKING 500 WORDS.
I AM EXCEPTIONALLY UPSET BECAUSE IT WAS ALL IN FIRST PERSON SO IT ENDED IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE. AND THERE WERE SEVERAL CHAPTERS WHERE SHE HAD DREAMS THAT SHE WAS GETTING MAULED AND KILLED IN BUT THEN SHED WAKE UP. So I was like wait there’s another chapter she’s gna wake up and be like I need to be brave or smth.
BUT THIS TIME THE NEXT CHAPTER WAS AN EPILOGUE FROM THE FIANCÉ’S POV LIKE TWENTY YEARS LATER AND ITS JUST THAT HE MISSES HER AND HE PUBLISHED HER STORY THAT SHE WROTE ABOUT THEM AND IT WAS A BESTSELLER NOW.
