The Trump administration placed a dramatic number of National Security Council staffers on administrative leave Friday as part of an agency overhaul, multiple outlets reported. The house-cleaning was reportedly overseen by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who’s also serving as interim national security adviser following Mike Waltz’s ouster. A White House official told Axios that about half the department’s 350 members were removed as part of an effort to scale back a department packed with employees who don’t align with President Donald Trump’s political agenda. “The NSC is the ultimate Deep State,” a White House official told Axios. “It’s Marco vs. the Deep State. We’re gutting the Deep State,” the official said, noting that people removed from the NSC will be placed in other government roles. Rubio also oversaw massive cuts at the State Department last month. The NSC is tasked with advising the president on foreign policy and other matters of national security and helping coordinate policies across various government agencies. But another White House official told Axios the restructured NSC would serve to “coordinate and advise — not carry out — policy.” People familiar with the matter told CNN that staffers were given less than an hour to clean out their desks. They also said NSC employees were recently re-interviewed by the Office of Presidential Personnel as part of a plan to scale back the department.

The report by the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology urges the U.S. to respond with a sweeping effort to militarize biotechnology. It offers little concrete evidence that such Chinese programs even exist.

If true, this would be an actual act of insurrection and actionable under federal law.

This is the precise reason I have said all along that Trump needs to cull everyone from the Biden and Obama eas from the federal government. If they refuse to leave, reassign them to the US mission at the South Pole or deep into Alaska. There is no requirement for Trump to keep these Deep State bureaucrats on in the federal government, especially in their current roles.

The people voted a mandate for dismantling the bureaucratic Deep State, and damnit, it's time it gets done, all the political tricks be damned!!

The President has a Cabinet. These are his advisors.

The President can (and often does) have what is referred to as a "Kitchen Cabinet." These would be trusted friends, experts, business leaders, other politicians... anyone whose advice the President may want to consider.

We don't need a National Security Council

The National Security Council is an unelected, unconstitutional arm of the United States government, and it needs to go. Now.

A redundant man is an unnecessary man, and the President is fully empowered to appoint his trusted advisors to Cabinet positions, and to consult others as part of his Kitchen Cabinet. He doesn't need any more.

What's wrong with the National Security Council?

They exist to preserve the interests of the D.C. establishment... to bring "Continuity" to our foreign policy no matter how incredibly awful it is. The President? He's only temporary. But the D.C. establishment is FOREVER!

So get rid of it. The National Security Council is the problem.

The NSC is why our foreign policy is so goddamn batshit crazy.

The NSC is why risking nuclear war with Russia, and opening our borders to a flood of illegals is VASTLY more important than our people, our economy, our security.

The only potential use for the NSC would be the involvement in removing a President who is unfit for the job. But one look at Joe Biden tells you that, to the NSC, that's a feature! It's a benefit! He's out of their way! They're free to do all the evil they want, without interference from Biden!

So get rid of the National Security Council.
