Thistle started her day out with small animal murder (◡‿◡) RIP Blue Tongue Lizard, I’m glad you weren’t a snake (ʘ‿ʘ)
When class was starting someone’s greyhound pup slipped it’s lead and RAN. Little dude was going full zoomie so hard he scared Thistle, so we turned and walked away very fast. But!! His owner called him and he did a slow turn and went back. Good recall!!! Also!!! My heart!!!
She’s successfully did Stand For Exams with 3 various trainers - it was the focus of the day. One of the trainers has never been able to touch her before and was wearing a hat and sunnies (intimidation factor +10 in Thistle vision) 🎉🎉🎉
Also worked a lot on her “ignore small running fluffy” focus. Been awhile since there was a small fluff in class, the new one…I tried explaining to owner not to come too close to us and why but I don’t think she understood the rabbit comparison or believed me when I said Thistle will bite her…
So lots of work for Thistle on ignoring, not leaving position when little toy poodle ran. She did well.
