imagine the eridians detect simon's ship after grace and rocky have landed and settled back on erid. they send a retrieval team up to get the SM-13 and bring him back to erid and surprise! there's another human in there! so they obviously call grace in and have him help while they patch simon up and monitor him

so when simon wakes up, with his last memories being dying in a blood ocean via giant eel, the first thing he sees is grace, backlit by the bright-as-hell medbay lights. and maybe he's just come from a celebration and he's wearing all his jewelry and hasn't taken it off in the whirlwind of emotions and things that have been happening, so the light also catches all this stone and crystal and throws rainbows and light rays everywhere

which is to say that the first thing simon sees is a vaguely human thing surrounded by all this light and brightness and (as some others have said) music thanks to rocky chirping away in the background and grace asks for his name and is so so kind

Also ayyy! I was also lucky enough to join and take part in the @dcafanzine !! As a bonus artist I was sooooo very lucky to be apart of this at all and I’m forever grateful and thankful for the mods over there for letting me join!!

The piece shows a very prevalent idea that you might see in a lot of my robotic drawings and pictures is that I love making my bots go up in flames and seeing the red reflected off em. Which I did not do a good job of actually doing here. Still, it was a drawing I loved doing and made so many friends and enemies from the zine /affection

so i'm kinda scared if the Digital Circus fandom are gonna start throwing tomatoes at me if I start shipping/doing ship art Kinger with any other Tadc character other than Caine and Queenie (don't worry I still love the Kinger x Queenie and the Caine x Kinger ships)

Like the Digital Circus is gonna start yelling at me like: "No! Kinger is [[INSERT CHARACTER NAME]]'s father!!" or "Kinger is married to Queenie and you can't ship him with another character!!" like yeah, I know that Kinger is married to Queenie and I'm neutral with the "Adoptive father Kinger" headcanon and if you like that headcanon then that's okay, I respect you but SOME people throw tomatoes at other people who like to ship Kinger with some character and I don't want to end up beaten up on social media like Pinterest, TikTok or other social media including here, tumblr.

Oh and also I don't like the headcanon that Kinger is Caine's dad because he created Caine, but if you like the headcanon that's fine but don't attack RoyalTeeth (Caine x Kinger) shippers for shipping a creation with his creator and just ignore them and let them have fun with the Caine x Kinger ship

grins. So! I was gonna save this for later but (since i love her too much) Lily doesn't die in this au!! She somehow survived the fall in game and the Prototype found her amongst the wreckage and has been (begrudgingly) nursing her back to health. However his version of "care" towards someone who's done some cruel and unforgiving things is not your ideal version. He gives her the bare minimum even though she needs a lot more given her condition. The Player finds out she's still alive and offers their assistance, to which the Prototype refuses. Lily is under his care and therefore his responsibility (and he would never accept help. No, no, never, accepting help is a sign of weakness that he must never show, yadda yadda). After that encounter though I like to imagine the Prototype would have the decency to try a bit harder for little Lovebraids. He doesn't want to. She's pathetic and weak and needy, and could easily yap his head off. But he cant explain that tiny inkling of... something. Call it pity, call it reluctant sympathy, but she's doing better now.
