The post going around about how people's parents met has, of course, got me wondering about more fictional variants. So if you feel so inclined, tell the story of how your Shepard's parents met in the tags. Or, for Earthborn Shepards, perhaps the story of how/why they ended up on the streets?

I used to use Google docs, but the white mode only was really annoying me (tires my eyes), so I swapped to Ellipsus (which I genuinely love and recommend), but it was bothering me a bit that I need wifi in order to use it, so now I switched to LibreOffice Writer, which I do like.
It very much has a Microsoft Word feel, but is open source and you need no accounts to use it. It's local on your device, so no AI can scan it, and no wifi is needed.
I still wish it had the Google Docs cards, because, bitch, that thing is so good for easy organizing.

Perhaps this is an obnoxious take on my part, but video games should, above all things, prioritize the ability of being paused. At any point. Regardless of whether it's during a cutscene, a special animation, or a time-based puzzle. You never know when you're gonna get a phone call, or someone will need you in another room, or you get a sudden urge to go to the bathroom, or you hear your cat licking plastic, or whatever. Other entertainment mediums like books, movies, and music can be paused whenever you want. Why do some games not give you the same luxury??

Something about Neve lowkey backing up Rook with giving the Venatori a chance to surrender while others, with exception of Emmrich, will not even entertain the idea of them getting out alive.
If I recall correctly, she HAS seen some former venatori leaving the cult and ended up escaping with the help of the Shadow Dragons. On Treviso path, she even hopes the former venatori who eloped with a former crow for a happy ending. I may be overthinking this but maybe the reason why she said this line instead of outright disagreeing with Rookās offer to them, even if she is cynical, sheās willing to give chance because she has seen it happen. She knows that thereās a chance that one may surrender, however little that chance is. Sheās not gonna close that door where they can turn away from the cult and change for the better.
More reason for me to love this woman so much.
