I was super bored in class the other day, and because I wasn't in the front row I couldn't start mindlessly scrolling through tumblr so I ended up writing 2000+ words of half life fanfiction. I'm not entirely sure how that happened but tbh I'm liking it so far
The nova prospekt segment in hl2 is potentially one of my favourite sequences in any game. I love being able to command the antlions, it’s so cool!!! I kinda wish it’s something that’d come back later, seeing as the “squad” thing in city 17 didn’t really work so good. And the visual language and storytelling is just as incredible as it is in the rest of the game. Not to mention how satisfying it is to tear through the combine, as per usual.
