Just reached the ending of Season 2 and I can’t help thinking of Jon, stupidly careful, paranoid, dismiss-everything-to-cope Jon caring about his assistants so much and not being able to admit it, finding out that Sasha got replaced and in his grief abandoning all caution and doing the first thing he can to get justice for her even if it is reckless and dangerous, and probably won’t work and he knows it but he can’t bear to wait and do nothing. Hearing the grief in his voice as he blames himself for not protecting them, even when he couldn’t have done anything, when he thinks he’s going to die and the last thing he can say is an apology to them, not even a plea to be remembered cause he is so so scared of being replaced but just an apology, for something he should never have to apologise for in the first place. Thinking of Jon and how much responsibility he puts on his own shoulders, how he tried to protect everyone but himself, protecting Tim and Martin from the NotThem, and still blaming himself in the end, god this podcast is killing me, I love it so much.
On that note: absolutely love how Jon did the total 180 from Gerard Keay supernatural emo what’s his deal to that’s our boy Gerard and all it took was one (1) mention of him beating up Jurgen Leitner

… for some reason the Jurassic park Dilophosaurus reminds me of Not-Sasha. Both a copy of the original, looking nothing like the original, but no one seems to remember the original. The JP dilophosaurus is a Stranger avatar imo

Not going to lie, The Not Them is kind of an ass name. Like It couldn’t be referred to as the replacement or something like that? Like The Not Them isn’t an inherently bad name for the creature but at the same time, it just sounds very awkward.

With the note that martin received from Nikola.. he absolutely wasn't going to hold back now.
He looked at least everywhere in the institute to make sure that the NotThem wasn't in any of them besides from the personal offices , of course he checked Sasha's office.. though they weren't there. Breakroom? No. Storage archives? Despite almost nobody but Jon goes in there... no. Where the hell could it be.
He was sat somewhere in the artefact storage room.. his head in his heads from frustration. Was he really going to stress himself out all day? He couldn't just spend the next hour trying to look for this stupid thing.. he couldn't spend all day in the artefact storage either. Martin sighed out a small puff of fog , grabbing a shovel off the wall as he headed back to the door but.. there was a sound. Where was that coming from?
