Happy Lists
A tip for those who feel low or lack motivation or just want to actually write something down and allow themselves to feel. Seriously, give it a go.
Grab a piece of paper, any piece of paper.Ā You can do this on your phone or computer but personally, I recommend actually writing it down on paper.
Make a list of things that make you happy. Fill the page, draw some doodles if you wish, make the bullets into stars, whatever you like. You donāt have to show anyone. The things can be asĀ āstupidā as you like. Aim to write at least 10 things.
Read through your list and donāt judge yourself, just let yourself smile at everything you see written in front of you.
Every so often, have a little look at that list and let a little bubble of happiness into your brain. I suggest making a new list every month or two and occasionally comparing your lists to your previous lists to remind you that youāve changed. There are many things that make you happy. Looking at that list you made last time, thereās something that still makes you happy but you forgot to write this time.
Let yourself be happy.
