“Why did you spare me?” You asked from the darkness that engulfed you. A chill seeped under the crack in the door. You were shaking, tears flowed freely down your face as the nights terrible events.

“Do I need a reason?” Negan asked in an almost consoling tone. His voice was soft when he spoke to you, not the arrogant asshole you had experienced all evening.

“Yes.” You replied in a steely voice, determined not to allow your fear and sadness show through your voice. “If you murder my people, I deserve a good fucking reason.” You continued.

“You interested me.” Negan said in a low voice that almost sounded like remorse.

“No.” You whispered, slowly standing to your feet. “No.” You repeated in a stronger voice. “No! You murdered them! You do not get to keep me alive!” You yelled, banging your fists against the iron door until they were bloodied. 

“Are you done?” Negan replied after you had fallen silent.

“Get. Away. From. Me.” You said in a low voice.

You heard nothing for some amount of time, whether it was ten minutes or ten hours. You curled up in a feotal position and sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. All the while Negan was leaning against the wall, listening and regretting what he had done. He could not turn back time and this is how it is now.
