Just for the fuck of it I looked up the addresses of the former Pizzas Hut in this ad on google street view.
3405 E Hillsborough Ave is now a restaurant called Tropical Cuisine. It’s just down the road from a gyro place in a distinctive A-frame-style building. The pitch of the roof seems in between the old IHOP and Howard Johnson’s restaurants so maybe it was a local chain?
8426 N Florida Ave. at one point housed Big Mommas Hickory Smoke Wing House, but now appears to be part of Unique Motors of Tampa (official address 8440 N Florida Ave, another one of those A-frame buildings with the little wings on the sides!)
a little hard to tell due to all the unique motors around, but if you look at the other side, it’s totally the same style of structure.
I’m at the combination former Pizza Hut and former I don’t know
UPDATE
Ok that was an easy goog! I literally searched on florida restaurant chain a-frame and this page came up: https://www.roadarch.com/eateries/aframe.html. The place was called Heap Big Beef and the first two pics on the site are the Gyro place and the car place I found. What in the world. I can only say thank you to the good people of Roadside Architecture for solving this very short-lived but still mysterious mystery!
