The light casting a shadow across this road

An uncertain path to follow

Left with a choice of which way to go

Thoughts racing through the mind 

Left in undeniable confusion

No one will know when each path leads

For once taken

There is no turning back

The destination holds no mercy for those who reach it

With the destination holding mystery

There is no remaining soul to tell of the journey

Showing how scary life can be

For as the days of tomorrow are never promised

Choose a path and take it without worry or regret

For no matter what, life is a scary yet blessed journey

Only we can write the path to tomorrow

Sometimes, I feel so broken,

I just don't want to try anymore.

Crying is so useless,

screaming with anger and pain

just hurts even more.

Everything just doesn't make any sense.

I feel so lonely and worn.

I bury my face into my knees and wish everything would just go away.
