Mycroft folds over the paper and places it beside him, letting his mind flow away from the intricacies of Sherlock's mission and towards the facade that required maintenance here in London. The last minute addition of Miss Molly Hooper's assistance in faking Sherlock's death had been disquieting;Ā it had left no time for Mycroft to do the required checks and assure himself that she would not hinder their plans. But it was a necessity and he had accepted that he'd have to have confidence in Sherlock's judgement. Ā
Now however, there's time to ensure everything remains as it should be and thus he decides to travel to have words with Molly; that seems the better course of action here rather than bringing her to him and possibly inciting ire.Ā
It takes mere minutes to pinpoint Miss Hooper's location and he asks his driver to take him to the small cafe she's frequenting. Ā
He walks briskly up to her seat, and speaks quietly but firmly,Ā
"Excuse me Miss Hooper, may I have a word?"
