Have been working on my december spread and january spread already, since a lot of stuff is already been planned in for me. bookmark: a book that means a lot to you and why

to the lighthouse by virginia woolf is one of my most favorite books! i read it in my english class in my first year of uni, and i really enjoyed it. i love how it’s written in the style of a stream of consciousness, and it kinda feels like i’m watching a movie when the perspective changes from one character to the next. 10/10 would recommend!

also, I was the worst at staying focused when I was in school! but, here are a few things that helped me:

setting a timer and not looking at your phone/computer/tv/etc for that time period

for the time allotted, you should only be doing something productive

this takes a bit of self-control but hey, it’s always good to practice that!

if you don’t have self-control (lol me too), then the app Forest is a great help!

the longer you stay in the app (and not checking tumblr *cough, cough*), the more trees get planted!

planning out my entire day

in my bullet journal, I would make a daily schedule and plan out my day from AM to PM in half hour intervals

once I would start doing homework, I knew “I have to bust my butt on this assignment for the next thirty minutes and then I can eat lunch”

this helped me IMMENSELY

as I always say, schedule time for fun too! this gives you a goal to work towards in the week and something to look forward to!
