i thought he was pretty good! i loved his inclusion in the live action. i was losing my mind in excitement waiting to see him when watching with my parents and i was ver thrilled every second he was on screen

for things that surprised me: i'm noticing that OPLA isn't doing the absurd heights for humans who aren't giants, and seeing Brook and Yorki the same height was jarring. the way he sang was also really interesting to me—i said before i was surprised by how deep his voice was, since smth that always stands out to me about Brook is he's got a higher voice. he also didn't really sing binks sake w the inflection im used to people singing it? he paused or didn't hold notes in spots the song usually does. none of these are bad but i did notice em when he was on screen as not being what i expected!

for things i liked: his costume ruled. loved the look for him. the scene of him singing to laboon was so fuckin cute. he def looks like Brook and how id picture him. i was delighted the whole time he was on screen and i was sad when he wasn't. him and yorki were rlly fun

which, related, i rlly liked yorki. he looked like... a frat boy. a male model. a ken doll. i don't know if im saying these as compliments? great casting

i have not! i read the legal releases. i caught up to one piece back in 2013, and every pirating site i used to read it is gone now, as are all the sites i switched to when my OG died. ive given up the hassle of piracy for now

honestly i was half hoping they wouldn't ever show us his eyes, but it's also very fun to see them so im not complaining

he's. definitely going to have that scar by the end of the flashback tho, i'm sure. i wonder if gunko/shuri was the one who gave it to him? i have to assume so with what information we currently have, though obviously i have no idea if we'll see more people become demonically possessed besides her
