Don't rush

This one was advised by a friend of mine. Basically, Sky is not a game you want to 'finish' as soon as possible. There's no end to it after all, why not enjoy the process?

Basically, I advise you to not progress the game with the question of 'Where am I supposed to be?' or 'How do I progress?' make it more of a 'What's this?' question.

Focus on your current surroundings and explore as much as you can in an area. More often than what not, you can actually find a lot of Easter egg even during your first run!

Not only that collecting every Winged Light (the shinning boys) as much as possible is also a priority since it'll help you navigate through the area easier. But don't sweat about it too, some of these are just hard to reach than others!

Honestly pretty self explanatory. Get some friends. (Affectionate)

Friends helps A LOT in Sky and I absolutely am not joking in this. Sky is a social game, and it forces the mechanism of friendship to you.

Though it is quite confusing first time, here's the short explanation about the communication system in sky:

> Generally, you won't be able to talk to strangers at all. Instead, when you open the chat box, (double clicking bottom left corner slowly), everything will be converted to messages sent by anonymous in the form of long dot text. (Ex: Anonymous: ..........)

> When you befriend someone (offering candles and receiving it from someone else), you don't immediately gain the ability to talk to them unfortunately. What you get is the ability to hold their hand and offer yours in return. Which are sweet! A friend have been added to your weaponry list.

> To unlock chat system with your friends you'll have to sacrifice some candles. Tapping on your friend will open what's normally called a Friendship Tree. Here, you can spend candles to unlock various interaction with your friends.

> To unlock chat first you'll have to spend one candle to unlock the action 'High five', and then two candles to unlock 'Hug', before then spending three candles to the right side of the tree to finally unlock the chat system with your friend! There's still more to it, but I believe it'll be best for you to unlock the rest with your friend ;DD

Join the discord!!!

Not promoting it or anything but if you have a discord I believe joining the official sky server would be fun! They held event every now and then and they even provide a system for you to look for friends who are also looking for friends! Try it!

I really don't mind going along with new players and helping them through the game for the first time. It's fun!

There's also a system of QR Code friendship if you've ever found it in the friendship constellation. It basically let you be able to talk immediately with the people you've befriend through QR code without spending extra candles!

Do the current season!! And past season!!

After season of Enchantment, you're able to relieve any past season freely! I advise doing this when you have no clue on where to go! (If you don't know where some locations are you can always check the wiki!)

I advise doing this whenever you feel bored/wanting to find some sort of excitement after 'finishing' the game. Some of these can be really challenging to do for mobile playing so try them out!

Again, not only the game mechanic is kinda making you befriend people in general, but friends kinda will be the only thing that might keep you around to play for later on.

Shout-out to two of my most precious friends that I've met in Sky, we've been in the game for two years and I dare to bet that if they were not here, I wouldn't be sticking around the fandom for long.

Anyways I kinda suck at putting tips and trick into words but this is the best I can offer! If you'd like, (you or any player out there reading this), send me a DM! I wouldn't mind exchanging QR code and play together every now and then.
