‘  𝚃𝙷𝙰𝙽𝙺𝚂  𝙵𝙾𝚁  𝙷𝙴𝙻𝙿𝙸𝙽𝙶  𝚄𝚂  𝙾𝚄𝚃  𝚃𝙾𝙳𝙰𝚈  ,  𝙺𝙰𝚂𝙰𝙽𝙾𝙳𝙰  .  i  know  it’s  not  the  easiest  job  ––––  but  it’s  actually  kinda  fun  if  you  let  yourself  play  along  .  ‘  the  host  club  had  received  shocking  news  when  their  stoic  takashi  called  out  SICK  to  their  daily  meeting  .  normally  ,  the  hosts  would  reluctantly  carry  on  without  him  ,  but  this  time  ,  mori  had  a  special  request  :  kasanoda  was  to  host  on  his  behalf  !  the  twins  wasted  no  time  making  the  first - year  look  PRESENTABLE  ––––  uniform  jacket  was  steamed  and  pressed  ,  crimson  hair  neatly  pulled  back  ,  dress  shirt  buttoned  up  to  the  top  and  tie  hung  ‘round  slender  neck  .  today  ,  kasanoda  was  a  HOST  !

the  COMMOTION  caused  by  the  red - head’s  presence  alone  had  managed  to  draw  in  the  biggest  crowd  that  the  club  has  seen  in  weeks  ––––  as  noted  by  kyoya  .  it  was  haruhi  who  had  been  tasked  with  showing  kasanoda  the  basics  :  what  type  of  china  to  use  ,  how  to  serve  tea  to  their  guests  ,  etc  .  it  was  the  same  basic  ETIQUETTE  that  tamaki  had  once  taught  them  not  so  long  ago  .  ‘  when  placing  a  glass  ,  use  your  pinky  as  a  cushion  ––––  like  this  .  .  .  ‘  they  carefully  set  a  teacup  on  a  nearby  tabletop  with  the  casual  grace  of  someone  who  has  done  this  countless  times  before  .  haruhi  pauses  .  a  glimmer  of  nostalgia  crosses  honey - colored  eyes  as  haruhi  catches  themselves  unconsciously  repeating  the  blonde’s  words  .    snapping  out  of  their  quiet  reverie  ,  realization  dawns  upon  the  host  when  their  gaze  lingers  upon  kasanoda’s  necktie  ,  which  rests  ever  so  slightly  CROOKED  .

"That's perfectly alright.." Tamaki's voice was soft as he smiled, he was careful to not make too much eye contract with him in the hopes of easing his anxiety just a little. He knew the club's activities weren't for everyone, but he still wanted to do his best to make Kasanoda more comfortable.

              in what way was he looking at kasanoda , one might ask . why , in the way of one forming the most brilliant idea ! brows draw together , and lips purse . his chin balances atop a fist , and eyes meticulously scrutinize the other . with this amount of visible mental preparation , this must be a most brilliant idea indeed !! then , with snap of his fingers , an idea has been struck , and it’s off to the races !

           his declaration is swiftly cut short , as eyes quickly move to scan the surrounding area . he then leans in to quickly offer completely necessary details in hushed , hastened tones .   ❛   this operation has been renamed by honey-senpai to maintain secrecy . so , no telling kyoya .   ❜
