Tsukishimia Kei- Tsukishima stood in the doorway, his eyes widened and his face blank as he watched his crush brush their hands off on the bottoms of their uniform like it was nothing.He didn’t know how to react. The crush he knew was shy and quiet and kind of a pushover. However, he’d just witnessed them unleash the unholy wrath of God on those annoying boys that had kept pestering them, and good lord did it feel good to see them writhing on the ground.“Nicely done.” Is all he could manage, blinking. His crush looked up, noticing him, and smiled shyly, saying “Thanks.” and blushing a little.God they were adorable.

Sawamura Daichi- He’d stand still for a minute, sort of surprised, before grinning and greeting his crush, commenting on what a funny coincidence it was.

Oikawa Tooru- He’d beam at his crush and say something cheesy like “What’s cookin’ good lookin’?” Earning him a smack on the back of the head (from his crush or Iwa-chan you decide). He’d toss an arm over their shoulder “jokingly” and start loudly talking about just how gorgeous they BOTH looked, earning him a flick on the forehead, which resulted in him complaining about how he was just trying to compliment them.

Kuroo Tetsurou- Kuroo would grin and shoot them a corny thumbs-up and a wink, saying “Wow, you must have a great taste in style.” Causing his crush to roll their eyes as they agree with a flip of their hair. Kuroo laughs, saying that they should give him the name of the store they bought the outfit from because DAMN does it look good. The outfit, not them. Oh no, totally just the outfit.

Bokuto Koutarou- Lets out a loud “WOAAAH” before looking down at his outfit and then back at his crush’s and then his and then his crush’s before proudly saying “WE’RE MATCHING” with a big smile on his face.

Ushijima Wakatoshi- He’d stare at them for a moment, not making the connection between their two outfits. He’d give them a brisk nod as a greeting. They nodded and giggled a little, replying with a little wave of their hand. It takes him fifteen minutes before he realizes that they’re wearing the same outfit.

I’m not gonna lie I had to google who Ushiwaka was I’m so out of it lmao,,, but ye!! Totally!! Hope you like it, thank you for requesting !!

Ushijima Wakatoshi- This poor awkward man would probably just,,, stare at his s/o with this blank-slate of an expression plastered on his face. He wouldn’t say anything, he didn’t wave, he just went along with getting ready for the match while occasionally sending little glances towards his s/o. Just before the match started he’d think to himself something along the lines of: “They won’t be upset when they lose. They’ll know it’s part of the game.”However, when his s/o’s team totally fucking WRECKS Shiratorizawa, he’s just standing there in his spot on the floor just staring at his s/o like he did before the match, not sure how to process what had just happened (but he’s super super proud of how amazing his s/o and their team is)

THIS!! MADE MY DAY!!Okay really I’m just so excited to write this–I’ll include both Futakuchi and Moniwa in here, I hope it’s okay! Oh, and female pronouns, since I’m not really sure if guys play this game too.. ;;

The modest couple, Daichi and _____ often go on casual dates, which usually consists of them strolling leisurely at a park, window shopping at shopping malls and having meals anywhere they could afford.

That day’s not different from usual, Daichi holding his lover’s hands on their leisure walk to nowhere in particular. As they arrived at the top of a hill, _____ proceeded to sit under a tree, looking so serene. Unable to resist, the captain pecked her lips. After a few pecks, he almost brought her to a passionate kiss, but ‘saved’ by the girl’s phone’s vibrations. Daichi pulled back, taking a seat beside her, as she opened up an app that she described ‘a dating game that’s different from most games’. 

Sure, any normal acquaintance would say he should be jealous, but he knew, playing games dating games, in particular, is something that his girlfriend enjoyed, and Daichi himself, wouldn’t dare to strip her off her favourite pastime.

Kuroo would notice their change from a mile away; ______ - the (h/c) who often left their phone every freaking where - was suddenly bring the device to anything and everything; They smiled at their phone more often, laughed a little lighter and would even walk out of the gym to answer a call - which was something they had never bothered to do.

He’d brush it off at first, thinking nothing of their behaviour but it wouldn’t even take him very long to find out the reason behind their change. He had heard them talking to Kenma about it the previous day, the never-before-heard name of a male brought up in the conversation.

“Hey ______,” he decided to bring it up the next day when he went over to their house for some cuddling - only to have them staring at their phone in the middle of the ‘session’. The (h/c) hummed, a small smile playing on their lips as they continued tapping at their phone, an earphone stuffed into one of their ears.

“Is Hyun sweeter to you than I am?” he asked, a teasing tone to his question. He could feel them stiffening, red slowly crawling up their cheeks before they basically ripped their earphones out and threw the device across the room.

“ahahahaha– what– who’s that?? I don’t know who you’re talking about Tetsu–”

“Hmm? Really now? Weren’t you in the middle of a call just now?” 

“W-Wait– Tetsu don’t–” they sputtered as the captain crawled out of their lap and towards their phone, already pressing in their password lock as a wide teasing smile spread on his visage.

Turns out, Kuroo had done some research on the game they were playing and managed to pry what route they were on through Kenma. He’s v supportive tho like he spends time with ______ and helps pick out the best answers for the man they’re aiming for lmao this kid–

Oikawa’s weekend with his beloved is nothing short of relaxing. Sure, there are still fangirls everywhere, but the male knew ways to avoid being bombarded by girls. Especially when he’s out with _____.

Funny thing is, he’s irked that the said girl was glancing ever so often to her phone, raising red flags to his mind. He brushed it off for a while though, convincing himself that it’s best to wait and see (if he ever got the chance to know what made her became like that). Eventually, they stopped at a cozy café, the one which they frequented every time the couple got to spend time together.

As their order was taken and delivered, Oikawa told her everything about how his day went (even the unnecessary details, like ‘Iwa-chan hit me again!’, something like that) which definitely got her full attention. But alas, the male’s storytelling session got interrupted by a not-so faint ringtone originating from his significant other’s device. Oikawa stared at _____ with shock, and pretty much stunned due to the fact that the latter whipped out her phone in record time, a silly smile etched on her features.

“_____-chaaaaaaaan!” he whined, pouting childishly and hoping that his s/o would stop fangirling at someone else and just pay attention to him again.

“Just a sec, Tooru, Yoosung’s calling me!”

“Who’s Yoosung?!–”

“He’s a character in the dating game I’m playing. You know, Yoosung has similar hairstyle with yours–”

“_____-CHAN!!”

“Moniwa….” the third year turned at the call of his name, seeing a teary-eyed _____ clutching her phone in her hand. He panicked, the pencil he had been using immediately flying out of his grasp as he took hold of her hand, frantically asking if she were okay and if something went wrong somewhere.

They were having a study date and she seemed fine a minute ago??

Moniwa’s eyes accidentally flicked towards her phone screen, catching sight of an angry red head before the screen blacked out. ______ sniffed, wiping at her tears and the captain could only rub her back soothingly, too flustered at the thought of doing anything else.

“_____? What happened….?” he asked gently, looking at their expression in worry whereas his eyes constantly flickered to their phone in worry. He heard her laugh, shaking her head slightly as she leaned into his touch.

“I’m sorry I worried you Moniwa… It’s just that… I didn’t expect it to be this painful…”

“What is..?”

“Seven’s route,”

….

“Huh?”

______ had to turn on their phone and show the captain what she was crying about. From that point on, Moniwa always asks how they were doing with the game; finding it both amusing and worrying that they were so emotionally invested in something that could be unhealthy but he’d be there for all the times __ needed to cry over her fictional love life.

Futakuchi is pretty chill about it tho like??

He finds out about it when _____ whipped her phone out in the middle of their conversation with an excited gleam in her eyes. His head perked up from their place in the palm of his hand, brown eyes widening in curiousity at the new sound of her notification.

“Sorry Kenji– Something important is happening and I’ve been wanting to hear from them since this morning,” he raised an eyebrow, a curious ‘oh’ falling from his lips as he tried to recall if there was anything important happening on the day of their date.

“Who’re they?”

“Hyun and the others,” she hummed, eyes furrowed together as she bit her lip- taking time to delve in her thoughts he presumed. The captain stood, sitting himself beside her and leaning over her shoulder to look at her phone - much to her surprise.

“Hmm.. Nice choice _____,” Futakuchi hummed, resting his head on _____’s shoulder as he watched the rest of the conversation and the novel modes. He’d squint at the way one of the characters was talking to her but other than that, he’d be pretty chill and sometimes help trick her into picking something that would break their heart ( especially Yoosung’s damn Futakuchi– )

“Let me make sure that you know who your real partner is,” is probably something he’d say when _____ reacted especially flustered after a chatroom. 

Whooo boy— Owl boy didn’t take so well to ______ ignoring him.

“______! Did you see that awesome spike?!” Bokuto yelled from the court only to see ______ chuckling at her phone, a genuine smile plastered on their features. He was standing just below, a blank face plastered on his face as he waited for a response- which made _______’s (e/c) orbs flicker away from her phone.

“Ah– Nice job Koutarou,” she complimented, grinning to the captain which earned a shout of glee. Though his good mood didn’t last for long.

As the team cleaned up the gym after their rigorous training, the owl-like captain of Fukurodani’s volley team caught sight of his girlfriend smiling yet again at her phone. He called for her name, receiving only a hum as she walked up to him.

“Whatcha doing?”

“Just playing a game and such,” as she was so engrossed in her phone, _____ didn’t notice the way Bokuto fidgeted, his eyes constantly flickering back and forth between her and his shoes and his calloused fingers playing with the strap of his bag.

“_______…..”

“Yeah?”

“Listen to me for a bit,”

“One minute– Seven’s calling,” the (h/c) laughed, and Bokuto’s mood spiraled further. He sulked, stopping in his tracks and pouting at the ground below. 

“Koutarou?”

“Nngh…”

“Are you jealous of a game?”

“….okay maybe a little….. quit playing that and focus on me ______,” he whined, prying hands wanting to take away her phone from her grasp which only made her laugh.

Next time they spent the day together, Bokuto wouldn’t even let her open a chatroom until she got mad at him

“I don’t know why you would want to date someone fictional when your boyfriend is right in front of you,” Ushijima spoke, glancing his eyes towards his girlfriend who gasped, pulling out one of her earphones and looking up at him with earnest surprise.

“This isn’t just a game Wakatoshi!! These guys are extremely life-like that it almost feels real–”

“But I still don’t see the appeal…” he mumbled, fixing the strap of his bag as he halted in his steps. _____ followed his lead, a curious expression on her face as the ace seemed to ponder about something far longer than he would or should have.

“Wakatoshi, what’s in your head?”

“What’s so great about playing those kinds of games when you can play sports or study….” Even though he didn’t show much emotion, there was barely a flicker of jealousy in his eyes and _____ couldn’t help but laugh. Such a cutie.
