[ jason didn't spend a lot of time just doing whatever he wanted, things that didn't involve his work or research for a case. so days like this were rare, very few and far between.
working on his bike was an almost relaxing sort of task. something that jason could give all his attention and focus to as a type of distraction. and not many people visited the scrap yard, so typically he had the place to himself; silent aside from the sounds of him working.
but solitude was not one of his luckier points.
each time he vied for it, someone interrupted. the sound of bootsteps against the gravel dirt ground was hard to miss, and jason was quick to pick it up, glancing over his shoulder. ]
