Well, the verdict is that I ended up with a grade 2 tear of the MCL last night. Doesn't require surgery but it will take a minimum of 2-4 weeks to heal because of the instability to the knee. RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation) and prescription strength Ibuprofen is what's up for the next few days, along with crutches when I want to walk or do anything. I can't take any regular pain pills because most of them have a hydrocodone base and I'm allergic to that. No codeine, vicodin, tramadol, ultram, etc. While Ibuprofen helps with the swelling and inflammation, it does nothing for the pain really. Just gonna have to grin and bear it and deal with the pain...and maybe let some choice words fly from under my breath. 🤷🏻‍♀️😒😭🤬 I'm being forced to slow down, which I'm not good at, so this is a huge exercise in patience. And I'm going to have to (re)learn to use crutches. Tragedy. Edmond Dog Park. This used to be the home of a hive of bees. A couple of years ago a citizen decided to rectify the situation himself instead of calling the city to have them humanly removed and relocated.
