Alright I’ve been pretty nervous about submit(h)ting this to you but I can’t stop thinking about it aaaa, it’s pretty much ripped off a brazillian folklore story that single women used to explain pregnancy or children that didn’t look like their father, they called it the Boto Cor-de-Rosa (Pink Dolphin).

Note: I deeply apologise if “river spirit” is the wrong term I couldn’t think of what to call it since cats can’t even see pink.

So, there’s a tale in riverclan that tells of a quite….peculiar river spirit, can be seen in the waters in the shape of an unusual, very big and long fish. However, that is only when the warriors are being watched by The Lion, as soon as the sky gets dark, the spirit takes the form of an unbelievably handsome tom. In this form, the river spirit is quite flirty and will get any careless molly pregnant, there aren’t really any real consequences to bearing a child from it other than the constant comments in their breathtaking appearance and some probable silly rumors, but there is, however, a way to prevent this river spirit: looking for a hole hiding in the fur on it’s back. If a hole is found, two paws over it is enough to get the river spirit to throw a fit and run back to the water.
