Static Shock (TFP Fanfic)
Shockwave was in his lab as usual, however many of the Decepticons were there as Shockwave had made an important invention. Not that any of his other inventions weren't. Either way, his invention was a type of fusion device, one that combined two cybertronian subjects into one being. The effects are reversable, however the reversal process is rather tedious.
Shockwave nodded to Knockout and Knockout asked "Any volunteers?", yet no Vehicons volunteered. A vehicon joked "Maybe we can combine Starscream and Knockout." The other vehicons chuckled, but then Shockwave said plainly "As interesting as that experiment would be, their personalities would very likely cause unpredictable results... So it would be illogical to proceed with that query."
Soundwave walked over, silently volunteering himself. Knockout was suprised, although Starscream didn't give a hair off a rat's ass. A vehicon suggested "Perhaps with Shockwave's intellect and Soundwave's.... skills? I dunno, but, uh.... Them combined'd be cool and very powerful!.... R-Right?" Shockwave nodded, "That would be a logical hypothesis."
So Shockwave and Soundwave entered the two chambers and with the all clear, Knockout activated the device. The device activated successfully, yet nonexcitingly. However, the results were rather.... Unexpected.

The middle chamber openned up and everyone expected something grandious and impressive... The results were impressive... except the resulting cybertronian was a mere sparkling. It was a somewhat perfect combination of Shockwave's and Soundwave's appearances and traits.... Except for a few things...
The fusion sparkling started to have a meltdown, half from being in an unfamilar place and from frustration. The sparkling bawled their little optic out and flailed their arms. Everyone was baffled, but Starscream said, "Stop it! B... Both? of you! Remember you both are the most stable among us, so stop having a tantrum!" Knockout gave Starscream a look, "Star... It's a sparkling... You can't convince a sparkling to calm down with words alone!" Starscream sputtered, "Well... Then you handle it!" Knockout said, "And ruin my finish?! I think not!... Just... Pick them up or something! Like how a parent would."

Starscream hesitantly picked up the sparkling and groaned, "What now?" Knockout sighed, "Do what your parents did." Starscream gave Knockout a look and Knockout said, "Do what an ideal parent would do." Starscream huffed, "I'm not a sire nor carrier... I don't even have proper sparkling care knowledge! Just tell me what an ideal parent would do!"
The sparkling cried and flailed it's limbs. Knockout groaned, his medical instincts conflicting with his obsession with a perfect paintjob. However, before he could decide, Starscream unceremoniously shoved the sparkling into Knockout's arms.
Knockout growled at Starscream, but then sighed. His paintjob was already damaged now, so might as well care for the sparkling. The sparkling's crying was still prominant, but it was starting to calm down a bit. Knockout comforted the sparkling and said, "Shhshh, it's ok, I got you now..." Knockout realized the sparkling needed a name, Starscream noticed too and snarked, "Let's name them Wavewave." Knockout said, "Oh puh-lease, that's too generic", Knockout looked at the sparkling and guessed some names, "Quasar? Radiowave? Polarize? Electron?" The sparkling perked up at Electron, so Knockout chuckled gently and said, "'Electron' it is then"
