SEASON 6
How is season 6 treating you guys? I've been pretty lucky with teams and stuff, plus the dive comp has died down A LOT.
Also I haven't been forced into healer roles that much due to amazing friends who rather have me play D.va.
I'm enjoying season 6
Story time with Mama Doova
β’If you want a little background on me :) (Of why I play overwatch so much)
Alright let's start a little back. Ive always kind of been into games ever since I was about 4-5, I grew up with many consoles. I really got into gaming when I got to play on an Xbox 360 back in hmm.. 2009 I believe. Maybe later. I played Minecraft on the pc at that time. At least until I got my own xbox around 2012
I remember getting Minecraft and Castle crashers on the 360 and played the heck out of those games. My dad eventually introduced me to multiplayer FPS games. (Call of Duty) beforehand I was aware of fps games (Bioshock, and Halo.) Which I played with my cousin. She wasn't and still isn't into games like I am though ;;
I started REALLY getting into the call of duty games and that consumed my free time for a long time. I wasn't good at them and I'll explain why in a moment. I personally loved the COD games for awhile. I got my Xbox one a year or two after it was released. So.. 2014-2015. I believe it was early 2015.
Played advanced warfare on it for awhile then bo3.
Let's get into when I heard of Overwatch.
I'm the type of person who hates when people talk and talk about something. Hard to explain. Basically when overwatch was released I heard a lot of people talking about how great it was, which made me not want to play it.
After awhile they had a free play weekend and I decided to take the opportunity to play it. (I actually have a video I made of my very first match) I fell in love.
Overwatch was the type of fps I needed in my life.
If you've played ANY call of duty game then you KNOW how unfair the game is. I played so many years of COD so switching to a game where a team matters and you didn't just get a kill from dropping to the ground with a shotgun was difficult. I sucked for so long. I fully bought Overwatch for the Christmas event. Towards the end of it. Been playing it since then.
I have one of my friends, he is still deep into cod and battlefield, but can't really play Overwatch. Which sucks but personally I will never be able to play another Call of Duty game again without raging my face off.
So that's why I've played so much of Overwatch and actually love it.
Sorry for the long post, its personal and what not. Also sorry for the weird paragraphs. Pretty bad with story telling :)
Watched a solar eclipse
Is it bad to say it kinda had me worried? It was also just so amazing to watch, although I had to look at it through 4 pairs of sunglasses.
