Space Mountain and part of the old people mover track
While a lot of elements of space mountain need a refresh (please Disney update the queue video) I think that the building is so iconic and beautiful… especially since it isn’t the bronze that it was from my childhood (shout out to that weird pseudo-steampunk phase Tomorrowland went through)
The peoplemover track from that angle on the other hand… Something about it makes me think of an old office building or something, it’s probably the windows and the way they are kinda tinted and discolored.
This mirror selfie is absolutely terrible but I’m filled with so much excitement about trying on my mansion costume for the first time I really felt the need to share it!!
I stopped by my future home today as a guest~
I was mostly in DCA to try the lunar new year foods but I had to take a trip across the esplanade to take a visit to the mansion!!!
(Also yes I look absolutely goofy in the bottom pic I’m not very good at being photographed by other people)

I GOT TO SEE MY BOY!!
This is like, the best picture of me and my boy and I’m still making a funky face because my cousin doesn’t know how to photograph me and also I was literally SO EXCITED to see HIM... also I think the lighting doesn’t help either
Apologies once more for the inactivity! I’ve had a lot of things on my plate recently and all that. A few updates though!
1- Will I ever end up making the iceberg video? Honestly I’m not sure. Someone already made an extensive series on it and I’m really worried that I won’t be able to add anything new to what has already been said, but I’m still kinda tempted to make an attempt at the very least
2- How has work been? Honestly I’m loving it. I’ve met so many awesome people and have been able to make some super memorable moments for people. I’ve for sure had my share of wild experiences too but this is the most fun I’ve ever had at a job! Honestly when I first got hired I was embarrassed over how much I liked Disney and was worried that people would think it was cringe that I liked Disneyland so much and loved learning the history, but for the most part it’s been the exact opposite experience. There are people who genuinely love to, for lack of better wording, “make magic” for people, and try their best to make it a fun experience for everyone, and it makes me smile so much!
3- I’M GOING TO BE LEARNING THE HAUNTED MANSION, MY FAVORITE ATTRACTION, AND I JUST FOUND OUT TODAY!!!! I LITERALLY SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THE TRAINING ON MY SCHEDULE!
I can’t think of anymore updates that are super relevant to this blog, but I am really close to finally graduating college so that’s also super exciting!
