With the Regent in Ios and his Akielon's identity revealed, the war for the throne of Vere is gaining heat. Laurent's plans for his alliance and his trust in his Akielon have both been shaken by his Uncle's machinations, but he is determined that he will continue the fight, no matter how much it hurts.
