You tempt me to ship him with an aquatic or semi-aquatic OC, simply because of that bit about him only getting intimate in rain/flowing water. You tempt me so very much.

Unfortunately, a lot of my aquatic/semi-aquatic OCs are skittish, so maybe someone who wouldn’t be bothered by his fire alignment instead–like, say, a demon who is also aligned with fire?

Jovi would be very understanding of his circumstances, would probably even do the polite, formal thing and ask his tree-wife if he could date him. (“Even if she can’t give me an answer, it just seems appropriate…”) Generally, he’s an upbeat, charismatic artist, with his preferred medium being his native element, fire; he can control it, change its shape and color, and is entirely immune to its damaging effects. His favorite art form is dance.

He’s very modern, always knows the latest trends, even if he doesn’t necessarily follow them. If you have a question about current events, he’ll have the answer, particularly if it’s about a going-on in the non-human community. He can come across as a bit of an airhead, but he’s quite smart when he applies himself, so he’s easy to talk to.

A little nosy when he thinks he can get away with it, perhaps too involved in his friends’ love lives, but he means well.

Also, kissing a man in the rain is something he’s always wanted to do (“Like in a TV drama!”), so he’d be pretty thrilled about that.
