@nosoundinspace There are brilliant songs, and then there are the songs they dig from the bottom of the desk drawers. Beautiful Ones doesn't have that Måns or Loreen or even Helena Paparizou feel. It's closer to an Azerbaijan song, if you get what I mean?

theres a joint grade for two exams so now ill have to do exceptionally at the second one (it will take place at the end of semester) in order to even out my recent failure. that is so not happening. but for now lets say im just ignoring it and ill worry in two months abt it... i guess ill retake the exam then.

yes! on paper though, my dad’s mother’s father (my great grandfather) was from Komiža and when he was older he went to South America and ended up in Bolivia doing business? in the mine industry that was booming around the 1900s, i think. But all I know is my family tree but i know little to nothing about him or how he lived and I always have to bring the fact that I have a Croatian Passport and “that’s how I got into the UK” I wish I was more connected to that side of my history so i could bring it into a conversation naturally tbh but yeah being 4th generation is kinda hard,,,
