Rachel

I can’t really define Rachel by any specific sin because for all of them, they don’t exactly fit. She’s not lazy, but she suffers from executive dysfunction. She’s horny on main, but it’s not the be-all-end-all of her relationships. She’s proud, but she’s not arrogant and she struggles a lot with her self-worth, etc. etc. The closest I can think of is wrath, maybe. But even then, she’s not pointlessly or needlessly angry. She has very justified and valid reasons to be angry. But wrath is probably the one that she expresses the most.

Howard

Greed, 100%. His whole schtick is that whatever he wants, he has to take. He has to own. Everything as he understands the world is through the lens of possession and ownership. He needs to have control over everything is does and has and does not like when he doesn’t get what he wants. And it also doesn’t help that he’s unrelentingly ambitious. He’s the kind of person that if he wants something, there’s nothing he wont do to either work towards it or get it.

Hank hadn’t really known what to get the pain in the ass of an android. Ever since he met him, Hank had tried to get on the young man’s better side. Seemed like he could use a friend in this fucked up world.

Well, not even knowing if the kid celebrated Christmas, Hank walked up to Obsidian and offered him a box. Inside was a black and blue ugly sweater. A run on joke this year for the old man. But folded inside the sweater was another box. This contained a round pendant of a raven. The bird made of obsidian, Hank couldn’t help himself, with a single sapphire as an eye.

          It was late and Gavin was filled with alcohol, an assignment had gone so fucking well that he was rewarding himself with a night out as he didnt have work tomorrow, so why the fuck shouldn’t he enjoy himself for a night? And a few drinks into the night he had started flirting with a few of the other patrons, what was wrong with a little bit of harmless fun. Hell, he might even be able to take someone to a nearby hotel and regret his decisions at a later date.

I will always have a soft spot for this one. This was my first ship on this blog and their chemistry will always be one of my favourites. Just so sweet and so wholesome and there’s just so much to love. I love these two. They’re so unabashedly adoring and devoted to one another and understand each other so well. They’re truly kindred spirits.

2. Colin X Rachel - @loosecannon-justice

It took a bit to kick something off with Rachel, but these two have a really really interesting dynamic. Like, Colin’s so odd and so strange but really sweet and gentle at the same time, and Rachel just rolls with all his oddities and finds them all unique and quirky and endearing and isn’t put off by him at all. And they’re just...so soft.

3. Rose X Rachel - @thethreefaes

Female muses in this fandom are a bit difficult to come by and I was honestly wanting to rp with this blog for a bit, but just didn’t know how. So imagine my surprise and delight when Rose popped up in my inbox. And I really like their dynamic right now and I can’t wait to see where it goes. But these two are fun and I like them a lot. Plus, I like playing around with the shifter verse. It’s fun!

4. Serena X Obsidian - @noservitude

Can we say power couple? And also aesthetic AF? Because damn, these two are fun. It’s also a lot of fun to play Serena even though her interactions pale in comparison to Rachel’s in sheer volume. But I’m very glad that this one worked out nicely for her. Can’t wait to see what unfolds for them.

5. Leo X Richard - @the-mind-of-xelyn

Another one that’s verse exclusive, and I also never expected myself to get as invested in a character like Leo before this. But I really like how these two act around each other. Leo’s so infatuated with Richard and Richard’s so loyal and devoted to Leo and isn’t shy of letting him know. They’re so soft. Leo’s right. Richard is Grade A boyfriend material.

This is an interesting one because we’ve only really talked about this in DMs, but any verse they’re in is just...fuck, these two are so God damn soft! Unfortunately we haven’t really had a lot of opportunity to actually rp it out, but I’m super excited to!

Rachel X Thomas - @the-quantum-repairman & Rachel X Sixty - @shotdownbutstillalive

I put these in the same category because my feelings towards both of these are very much the same despite the actual dynamics being very different. I absolutely adore the friendship between the respective muses and while I’m curious to see where their relationships are gonna go, as is, their friendships are super endearing and I just love them so much.

Rachel X Markus - @the-mind-of-xelyn

I would’ve put this on the top five, but I figured two was a good number from the same blog. But in any case, I fucking love these two. Markus is such a good influence on Rachel and such a damn tease and it’s so nice seeing her let down her guard around him and see him as an equal and as a person rather than as some sort of judge for her transgressions. It takes a lot of pressure off of her knowing that she had nothing to be forgiven for and that they can work together. But that presents a different problem, which is oh no, he’s actually really cool and sweet and fun and I have a crush on him, fuck. Which is very fun. She traded an inferiority complex for an uncontrollable crush.

Connor X Rachel - @howtodisassembleyourdeviant

These two definitely have some work that needs to be done before they can even really be ‘friends,’ let alone any sort of romance. But I actually like that their relationship has conflict and needs work. It leaves a lot of room for development to happen and it’s honestly a really interesting dynamic between them. Especially because they’re on the same side, yet they just butt heads a lot when it comes to the the details of how they go about things. There’s a lot to work with here and I like that.

Alma X Rachel - @the-mind-of-xelyn

There is SO MUCH POTENTIAL HERE. And also they’re both just really sweet with each other and are super encouraging of each other and it’s so endearing. They’re both so curious about the world and so inquisitive with a hunger to understand everything and learn everything and they’re just so enthusiastic about teaching and learning from each other. And I love that they’ve got that going for them. And I can’t wait to see where their story goes!
