The weather forecast was for NorWest winds and 26ºC today so I decided to run early before the heat arrived. It was a good choice because it is very windy and hot out now. There was lots to see on my run today. First up was a young bunny hopping along the track in front of my as I ran into the forest. Then a cove of wild poppies caught my eye. The view from the top of the hill was great today under the moody sky. I ran down onto the beach. There was no one there so I ran north into the strong northerly wind then turned around and ran back. I did a wind assisted fast kilometre on the way back then turned and ran home. A very nice 10km run before the heat of the sun.
