Iβm a big believer that real world hardships donβt need to be featured in fiction. As a trans man, writing and reading a world where being trans causes no one to even blink is healing and something I donβt think Iβll ever change.
Itβs similar to the attitude I have with people being queer! No one blinks an eye at it in any of my fics, and Iβm comfortable with that.
This is not meaning any hate at all to people who do have homophobia/transphobia as central parts of their plot or even just points in their plot!! It just isnβt something I enjoy writing, and, personally, donβt enjoy reading, so I donβt include it :))
