A shelter on the promenade at Norbreck, Blackpool, with the roof destroyed by lead thieves. It has since been restored. I am usually against the death penalty, but there should be some exceptions.

Several decades ago, a number of additions were made to the promenade at Norbreck, Blackpool, as part of a scheme to create work for youths. One of the additions was a stone arch, which became unsafe, and had to be removed. Only the foundations remain.

The site of the Mariner's Bar, Norbreck, Blackpool. I used to drink in this pub. They hosted rock groups at weekends, but one of the last acts I saw was an old man singing Frank Sinatra songs.

People say that Blackpool Tower is a less impressive copy of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. This is Blackpool's version of the Arc de Triomphe.
