The chance to see Nora didn’t come about as often as the blonde would like due to the other woman’s crazy work hours and Harley’s less than flexible schedule. However, the fact that the redhead was taking the time to see her just because she heard of the scandal was appreciated. It was no secret that Nora was a workaholic, but the woman would kill for those she loved, so making a little time was something she was always willing to do if needed. Harley just hated taking her away from something important. 

When she heard the doorbell ring, she closed the book she was reading, stood from the couch, and walked towards the front door. She could already hear how excited the puppies were since they were pretty familiar with her house after visiting on more than one occasion. As soon as she opened the door, her legs were attacked by affectionate pooches, so she made sure to give each of them a little love before backing up further into the house. “Hey you,” she said with a smile. There was a giggle in her tone due to how adorable the dogs were and how many kisses she was on the receiving end of. “Your dogs kind of have me pinned, so can you close the door?”
