Surveys show that workers prefer a hybrid work model in which they go into an office a few days per week. But Darren Murph, head of remote work culture at GitLab, suggests that small organizations consider keeping all executives out of the office “so they send the right signal that the office is not the epicenter of power. The office is not the place where you come to get promoted.”

I fucking hate how fucked up my sleeping patterns are now. I was up until like 4:30/5:00, then woke up at 6:15 craving some delicious salsa. So now I'll probably smoke and go back to sleep until like 1:00, then stay in bed until 2:00, then go to work for another fucking closing shift. I don't mind closing a few nights out of the week, but every shift is some bullshit. I don't even know how long I'll stay at this job, I'm already looking around at other jobs in my area. I just know I could find something better than another restaurant job. Oh well.
