I think for a lot/most of people/women though, it’s a very real danger and real reason to be wary/afraid? (I’m bad at explaining my thoughts.)
I totally agree, anyone be a fool not to be at least a little bit afraid of those risks, and an even bigger one to not take caution. I was mostly just a little bit frustrated by lots of little imgur/tumblr/facebook reminders that "men are dangerous", like being male is what makes a person dangerous, not violent/manipulative tendencies.
