19. Summer camp au & 63. everyone knows/mistaken for a couple
I mean obviously half the fic would just be an excuse for Kon to show off and Tim to ogle him, let’s be real.
But anyway, they’re like 20 year old camp counsellors. Tim got conned into it because he “couldn’t spend another summer doing nothing but play video games” or “trying to fuck around with LexCorp stock just to see if he could ruin Lex Luthor for fun” and “needed to see more sunlight before he died of vitamin d deficiency in the 21st century” or whatever, he was only halfway paying attention to what Bruce and Dick were saying, and now he’s in charge of a cabin of twelve year olds who are highkey obsessed with trying to assign everyone around them Percy Jackson godparents (they’ve decided Tim is a child of Athena; he doesn’t argue).
Kon is at the summer camp voluntarily and in addition to his own cabin of equally obsessive twelve year olds, he also spends a solid chunk of his time as a lifeguard by their camp’s lake.
They’re both the new counsellors on the block at the start of the summer, so they spend a perfectly reasonable amount of time together trying to figure out the ropes. Tim spends a deeply understandable amount of time not hiding his gaze behind sunglasses as well as he should when his campers are at the lake.
All of their combined campers are 110% convinced that Tim and Kon are dating, and it’s with absolute horror that they realize collectively with like two days left of their camp sessions that they’re actually not.
Something will have to be done.
