Honestly, for an insomniac like myself, staying awake is as simple as just not taking my sleeping pill. . .but the sleepiness never ends.

I didn’t know that normal people with normal sleeping habits don’t have the thing where you guys don’t feel the “Too sleepy/tired to do anything other than lay down, but too awake to lay down” feeling that we insomniacs live every night and every morning and sometimes randomly during the day.

Idk. I wanna sleep, but it’s like...there’s getting to sleep which can take anywhere from 2-8 hours if it even happens at all (2 hour minimum with my sleeping pill), staying asleep (staying asleep means trying not to wake up for longer than half an hour every 2 hours minimum coz that can’t be helped), actually waking up in the morning (waking up after taking a sleeping pill and psych meds is like the worst hangover imaginable) , and then finally there’s the constant nightmares so it’s like...why even bother? Oh, right. Because I’m FUCKING TIRED AND SLEEPY.
