“baby, lemme in! i'm sorry about what happened” you heard him through the front door, the anger still apparent as you were doing your makeup.

“go away, braxton! i'm not letting you in!” he put his head against the door, pleading to talk about what happened two nights ago. “you've been ignoring my calls, i needed to talk to you”

you cross your arms as you make your way to the door. “that's because i don't answer phone calls from cheating losers!”

he sighed, feeling like shit. “please open the door, the neighbors are looking at me” he said as he nervously fiddled with his kandi bracelet you gave him.

you finally come to the door and crack it slightly. 

“what do you want?” he smiled when he saw your beautiful face and that you were wearing the Paul Frank shirt he gave you as a surprise because you loved the cute, little monkey mascot: julius. he did a happy scoff as he placed his hands on top of his low pony-tailed curls.

“i was wrong, baby. [❤︎],  i . . . really hurt you when i did what i did. but i’ve missed you so much-” you put a finger on his lip to shut him up.

“what does she have that i don’t have?” he looked at you then attempted to look at your finger on his mouth. you moved your hand from his lips, placing it back on the door to possibly slam it in his face again.

“she was different, but nothing like you. when i went out with her, i kept thinking that . . .this girl is so not my style, she's not my favorite girl, my [❤︎]” you pouted at him from his words, your heart being in that in-between like state of giving in and wanting to never see him again. it hurt when you found out he tried to find someone else but hearing it from him was nice.

opening the door wider to fully be in the doorframe. “if i'm your favorite girl, why'd you leave? you said you'd never leave but you did it anyway.” he saw the way your eyes were like that of a rabbit's, big and sad. 

“i’m- well, my life isn't complete without you. i was constantly thinking of you when i was with her . . .”

“did you . . .?

“no, i didn't kiss her”

“it still kind of hurts, brax . . .”

he looks down at your door’s frame, and then his attention was brought to your cute polka stockings. you arms were crossed as you stared at him.

he did his puppy eyes to you and asked “you gonna lemme in now?” you huffed to yourself, grabbing his hand and bringing inside. once you two entered, he took his hair down, shaking it to even it out. you looked over at his as you place your iPod down on the table, softly smiling at the fact that he was trying to look good for you.

you sat on your couch and started typing on your phone, brax followed you and sat in between your legs.

he rubbed one of your legs, holding on to the warmth you had due to his hands being cold. you started playing with his hair, braiding some of it as he messed with the kandi again.

“i-”

“just let me enjoy this please, brax. i'm still mad at you.”

“you still love me?” after he asked that, you took at sigh and kept playing with his hair.

“yes, but i'm not accepting your apology.”

“aight, i got it.”

you leaned his head back to kiss his forehead. he smiled at you, his tooth gem being apparent as he did.

“i'm not letting you off easy, braxton.”

he nodded at you, enjoying your touch and being with his favorite person again. 

both of you knew that it will take a little to get back to how you were before, but he was enjoying that fact anyway. 

kissing your leg as you two spend the rest of the afternoon with each other.
