AND ITHACA??? laertes barely mentioned, calipso wanting odysseus to "remember" cause she gave him LOTUSES??? lotophagi are in a totally different part of the story

where is nausicaa. i want to KNOW. both in Epic and here, no mention of my queen. where is my pining girl. i hate that Ogygia is where the story starts instead of Phaeacia

odysseus has no emotions... athena is??? not athena??? and is just there??? at this point don't even call her that, since she's just his guilt talking. i really didn't like how they downplayed the gods. they were such an important part of culture and society

i found telemachus to be more cunning that odysseus and that should NOT be right

sirens weren't birds, circe wasn't a goddess/enchantress living in a palace, Laestrygones were wearing like- iron armor? when iron was not used during the bronze age (which odysseus knows he's part of SOMEHOW). don't even get me started on the cyclops i'm so mad
