Summary: “He’s only two years older than you,” Tony finally says when the silence becomes too much to bear. “Dad, Teddy is turning twenty-seven next year.” “I am not dating your husband—” “I’m not implying you are. I just want you to be...aware that he’s practically the same age as my husband.” AKA Tony Stark's new boyfriend is only two years older than his adult sons. Telling them is one thing, introducing them is another. What Tony doesn't expect is that the past always has a way of catching up to him, of biting him in the ass when he least expects it. Well, at least they're all together for the Holidays. What more can he ask for?

The cold New York air is sharp against Tony’s skin. He checks his watch: almost two in the afternoon. He shifts in his seat, his ass feeling uncomfortable and numb. Right leg over his left leg, left leg over right. He slouches, then stands, then sits back down.
