My Roman Empire

-I tried watching this one in high school, that lapse of time where I consumed lots of media and forgot about most of them. The sudden change in art style threw me off and I dropped it, it's so fucking weird, I need you to look at it:

-Some information I found is that the episodes may have had different animation supervisors but come on, this isn't just a slight different art style, these are different character designs. Different animation supervisors still need to stick to the same character designs!

-The art style returns to normal in episode 3, and remains this way at least until episode 7, which is where I'm at. That's a good thing because I actually really like the art style. It takes a bit to get accustomed to but I enjoy it :^)

-Early to mid 2000s shows of this sort have such a charm to them. I thought that the first episodes were a bit slow but I'm having a great time now that the main plot points have been established. But honestly you know you've got me when your show has that slight grayish-green tone over it and... idk, I'm so charmed by these kind of shows... ah, I'm so easy...
