you've been using the word "psychiatrised" alot lately, what do you mean specifically when you say it? i don't think i understand just from a glance
psychiatrised as in 'to be subject to psychiatry', especially with regards to being diagnosed with psychiatric disorder and therefore controlled by, categorised by, defined by, etc. those institutions as a lesser and/or 'other' kind of human being. it's a term used in Mad studies.
its an intentional term ive picked up lately because it highlights that people with psychiatric diagnoses are subject to social and institutional marking rather than innately or objectively 'mentally ill'. it's a similar concept to being racialised or trans-feminised, if you're familiar with those turns of phrase.
real talk on the childbearing part of this dash crack, i still haven't decided if the seahorse thing is true or not for my lucifer when it comes to charlie. i see him as technically genderless / any gender, so he can carry a kid if he wanted to, with the ability to change his biology and whatnot. but i feel like the creator was being non-serious with that tweet, and i'm not sure if i'm really on board with the idea. i leave it vague on purpose and with lu being dodgy about it since it's something he views as personal / knows some people can be weird about since he presents as a man. who knows! i'll probably never make a choice on it unless i'm writing with a charlie and it comes up- in which case we can decide within their own verse.
