I’ve been exploring the online dating world. Signed up on okcupid, match and eharmony. So far have only met anyone from okcupid. These experience have been so Interesting and varied that I want to get them out of my head for posterity. So here goes…. Date#1 First appearances he was short, and I mean short. Major turn off. We met at a Starbucks and had coffee/conversation. He informed me that he has two sons at home and the mom lives overseas. RED FLAG!!! Not trying to do that again. So we finish our coffee, and he asks “your backseat or mine” wtf?!?! Neither. Went to Costco afterward do the creeper couldn’t follow me home. Date #2 Met at the movies. Watched Boss Baby which was Hilarious! Both laughed the entire time. Went and talked in his car afterwards. He informed me he was a former gangsta that has two babies on the way from two different girls. RED FLAG!!!! I sat and talked so I wasn’t rude but wasn’t sticking around for that hot mess. Date #3 Really nice guy. Met at a Starbucks and then went back to his place. Watched movies and cuddled. Played games with his roommates. He likes the one anime show I have seen so this could be promising. Have gone back and hung out again. To be continued on this one. Date #4 Met up at a cool coffee shop in Kirkland. Sat there for two hours just talking about love, life, divorce, work. Anything you could think of. Super sweet guy but no spark on either side. Think I gained a really good friend out of this one. Date#5 Met up at a cool restaurant/bar. Was $.50 wing night so we had some. He advised me to mix all the sauces on my plate to dip the wings into and it was amazing! Great conversation at dinner, we both were laughing. Went back to his place. Huge Stoner but he was cool about it. Had a few Heinekens and sat and bullshitted for hours. No spark there because he looked way to much like my ex from high school. It was kinda creepy, but he's not like him so it was cool. Played trivia pursuit on his original Xbox and had a blast. Total great new friend, recently divorced too. Starting to think it's an epidemic. So these are my adventures so far. Major downside to online dating is getting hit on constantly. It's not fun actually, it's pretty damn annoying. I know I'm cute, I also know I'm beautiful. If you can't come up with something better then that to start with then move along.
