I know that haters gonna hate, but sometimes it just makes me sick to see how people use our posts to complain. I used in recent a post our hashtag #allwomenrock, because I want to say that women of all sizes are beautiful. Yet, one guy used this as his way to vent about women when he said he commented "not all women". Later in the discussion with him he asked if this counts also for women who murdered and gave two names. My responce was obviously "NO". This is not a page to promote such horrible behavings, this is just a page and a hashtag to promote #bodypositivity and #diversity. It should be clear that I never wanted to promote murderers with the hashtag #allwomenrock. I am still shocked about this. Just cause you don't like an image, don't use my words to vent. I love my body. I love that I can move and be free. My body has no titles placed on it by society. I don’t care if I am not thin enough, built enough or fit enough by another person’s standards. Why? Because a person who shuns me for how I look is not a person who is happy with who they are. Instead, they are projecting their personal insecurities and fears on others to make sure that their “bubble” doesn’t burst. To people of all sizes I say this: love yourself first and MORE. Whatever steps you are taking to live your best life, keep doing it! Make this one time in this body count and don’t waste it trying to match the standards of society that are ever changing.
