5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the KINSEY SCALE?
~Rank: 3 (Equally Heterosexual & Homosexual)
*ATTENTION: Lady Sybil Branson as she is played and written in Downton Abbey by Julien Fellowes is fully Heterosexual. This is merely my Sybil as I Roleplay as her; completely fictional and imaginary*
Sybil is a bisexual woman, meaning (for those that don’t know) that she feels sexually attractions to men and women. She has had her share of liking men in the past. There was once a handsome Cricket player in a Manchester match that she had fallen for. The 2 talked, but he soon moved away with e team, leaving Sybil heartbroken for a couple months.
Sybil has only felt an attraction to one woman in her lifetime, a housemaid named Mariead Hayes. Sybil hadn’t known she liked woman until Mariead came along, setting her off into a smitten little girl. She had a fling with Mariead and the 2 ended up getting married. Tom Branson, being in love with Sybil, helped her have a baby with Mariead, not knowing that he was doing so obviously in fear of knowing Sybil was gay and having everyone know. He didn’t want her title tainted or for her to be disowned.
Sybil was in love and married to Mariead until her death in 1920 due to Preeclampsia and Eclampsia while giving birth to her, Tom and Marieads daughter, Sybbie. She left Mariead a secreted widow, no one ever knowing of their love.
