Vows; A Marybil Wedding || {Closed}
Sybil was alone in her room, her mind flooding with thoughts as she slid on a long, white gown from a Debutants ball she attended a couple months ago. She dared not purchase a vail or wedding dress, considering the house would be in a state. No one knew about she and Mariead, and no one was going to find out. Sybil had to keep her family from scandal and she couldn't have Mariead lose her job. They had everything settled, anyhow, so there was no need to worry. This was the first time Sybil had ever dressed herself, but she couldn't ask a maid not could she ask Mariead, no doubt getting easy herself. Besides, it was bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. Sybil downed the last if her tea before walking back over to her mirror. The dress, the hair in a wavy bun on the top of her head, and her face powdered and primped. "Well Sybil, this is it," she began, flattening out the dress, "no turning back, no regrets, no nothing." Sybil wasn't having any second thoughts whatsoever. She loved Mariead. She loved Mariead more than the sun loved the flowers, more that the waves loved the shore, more that Romeo loved Juliet. Her love for that woman was endless and overpowering at most. The wedding was going to take place out in the courtyard while the family was at the Dowager Countess' for luncheon. Sybil had told her family she was feeling tired and was able to get out of it. The day before, she had decorated the courtyard with many different types of flowers of all colours. She knew the wedding wasn't going to be big, heck, it was only herself and Mariead, but that's all she longed for, that's all she wanted, that's all she needed.
